Material Structure of Boron Nitride
Material Structure of Boron Nitride
Boron nitride hexagonal crystalline system, the most common is graphite lattice, there are amorphous bodies, in addition to hexagonal crystal, boron carbide has other crystalline forms, including: rhombic boron nitride (r-BN, or trigonal boron nitride, whose structure is similar to h-BN, which will be produced in the process of h-BN converting to c-BN), cubic boron nitride [abbreviated as c-BN, or | 31BN, or z-BN (i.e., flash zinc). Ore-type boron nitride, very hard texture], wurtzite-type boron nitride (abbreviated as w-BN, a hard state under high pressure of h-BN). Two-dimensional boron nitride crystals like graphite are even found (similar to MoS: two-dimensional crystals).
